Miguel Baez Vargas possesses extensive experience in environmental consultancy and project management, primarily focusing on solid waste management and investment projects. Currently serving as an Especialista SNIP/Financiero at Nippon Koei LAC since March 2015, Miguel has been involved in national botadero closure projects. As COORDINADOR GENERAL for CONSORCIO FICHTNER GMBH & CO. KG / CYDEP S.A.S. since November 2013, Miguel has led initiatives to develop solid waste management systems in various priority regions of Peru. Previous roles include consultancy positions with the World Bank, Ministry of the Environment, and Xstrata Copper, along with a teaching role at Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería de Perú. Miguel holds an MBA from Universidad ESAN and various diplomas in solid waste projects and public investment projects.
