Since the early 2000s, the board of directors at Nippon Steel has been made up of individuals with experience in a variety of industries. These individuals have come from companies such as Eagle Retailing Corporation and Jacobs and Associates Inc. They have also worked as interns at companies such as GreenSavings.Coop. In addition to their work experience, the members of the board of directors have also received degrees from universities such as American University and Ritsumeikan University.
