Sunny Khawash

Sunny Khawash currently serves as the Associate Director of Credit Risk at NIRA, a position held since March 2025, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and implementation of credit strategies and refining credit policies. Previously, Sunny held the role of Head of Credit at Turno from November 2024 to February 2025, focusing on credit underwriting strategies and processes. Sunny also served as Associate Director of Credit Risk at NIRA from August 2018 to November 2024, leading a team of over 45 members and developing credit risk frameworks. Earlier experience includes an Associate position at Landmark Group and a Junior Research Fellow role at North-Eastern Hill University, involving research data collection. Sunny holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Punjab Technical University and completed AISSCE at Kendriya Vidyalaya and Matriculation at Don Bosco Secondary School in Meghalaya.
