Juan Manuel Ruiz Fernández

Juan Manuel Ruiz Fernández has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Juan Manuel started their career in 2010 as a Junior Researcher at Universidad de Extremadura (Homeria). From 2011 to 2018, they worked at HOMERIA Open Solutions, where they held various positions such as Web Developer, Development Team Lead, and Development Leader. In 2018, they joined Sngular as a DevOps Cloud Engineer and stayed with the company until 2020. Following that, they worked as a Senior Cloud Consultant at Enimbos from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they had a brief role as a Lead Software Engineer at OutSystems before joining Nira as a Cloud Engineer in the same year. In 2022, they transitioned to Amazon and worked as a Software Engineer until 2023. Currently, they are back at Nira as a Cloud Engineer.

Juan Manuel Ruiz Fernández received a Computer Engineering Science degree from Universidad Isabel I from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Technical Engineering Science degree with a focus on Management at Universidad de Extremadura from 2003 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Juan Manuel has obtained multiple certifications, including Kubernetes Certified Administrator by School of Devops in 2020, Kanban Management Professional in 2019, Kanban Systems Design in 2019, and AWS Certified Security - Specialty in 2020. Juan Manuel has also completed various online courses, such as Learn Go for Beginners Crash Course, Integrando Docker a su infraestructura y servicios, Linux Administration Bootcamp: Go from Beginner to Advanced, and Patrones de diseño de software y principios SOLID.
