Omoyemi Akande

Omoyemi Akande has several years of experience in various roles related to agribusiness and agricultural development. Omoyemi started their career in 1999 as an Agricultural/Liaison Officer at Ebonyi Local Government. Omoyemi then worked as a Commodity Officer at Fantastic Traders Plc from 2001 to 2007. From 2007 to 2014, they served as the Business Development Manager at Remak Enterprises Nigeria Ltd. In 2015, they joined Grace-Edge Business Solutions as an Agribusiness Consultant. Currently, they are the Head of the NIRSAL Field Office in Osun State, where they supervise financing and intermediation activities, coordinates project monitoring and reporting units, and assists in implementing agricultural financing intervention programs.

In 2021, Omoyemi Akande received education in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from the Harvard Business School Executive Education.
