Theodore Uzoma Aligwekwe

Theodore Uzoma Aligwekwe has been the Head of the NIRSAL Connect Field Office since February 2023. Theodore Uzoma previously held the position of Head of the Project Monitoring, Reporting & Remediation Office at NIRSAL Connect from June 2017 to May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Rex Consultant Services from February 2010 onwards. Theodore Uzoma started their career as a Travel Consultant at Travel Solutions Limited in February 2005 and held the position until November 2009.

Theodore Uzoma Aligwekwe began their education in 1996 at Michael Okpara' University of Agriculture Umudike, where they obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture degree in Agricultural Economics in 2001. In 2006, they pursued a Diploma in Travel and Tourism from the University of Cambridge, and in 2009, they attended the University of Aberdeen for two programs. Theodore Uzoma completed their Master of Science in Soil Science in 2010 and also received a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Systems in the same year.

Furthermore, Theodore Aligwekwe has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they completed the IATA/UFTAA FOUNDATION & EBT COURSE from IATA Training. More recently, they have acquired certifications such as Sustainable Agricultural Land Management from the University of Florida in September 2023 and Excel Fundamentals – Formulas for Finance and Statistics Fundamentals from Corporate Finance Institute in July 2023. Theodore Uzoma also obtained certifications in Speaking Confidently and Effectively from LinkedIn in July 2022, and in Excel: Economic Analysis and Data Analytics and Excel: Analyzing and Visualizing Cash Flows from LinkedIn in March and February 2022 respectively. In 2020, they earned certifications in Managing Project Stakeholders, Project Management Foundations: Ethics, Corporate Financial Statement Analysis, Project Management Foundations, and Project Management Foundations: Risk, all from LinkedIn.

Theodore Uzoma Aligwekwe's education background consists of degrees in Agricultural Economics, Soil Science, and a Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Theodore Uzoma has also obtained certifications in various fields, including Sustainable Agricultural Land Management, Excel, Statistics, Speaking Confidently and Effectively, and multiple Project Management related certifications.
