Dejan Cakic

Dejan Cakic is an experienced professional in the engineering and maintenance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Pipeline Exploitation at NIS Gazprom Neft since February 2015. Previously, Cakic held positions including Field Application Engineer and Process Development Engineer at TERMIKA AD ZRENJANIN, where responsibilities included conducting industrial trials, client support, and process improvement initiatives. A background in production management was established at Izolir AD Zrenjanin, leading operations in the pre-insulated pipe industry. Earlier experience includes roles as Lead Engineer in Pipeline Maintenance at Dietsmann SAM and Mechanical Engineer with PM Lucas Kazakhstan, overseeing maintenance and construction operations. Cakic also contributed to continuous improvement and maintenance projects at Le Belier Foundry and served as Lead Maintenance and Production Engineer at Van Drunen Farms Europe. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Development of Mechanical Engineering from the Technical Faculty in Zrenjanin and a high school diploma in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Zrenjanin Grammar School.
