Tony S. Gould

Tony is a director in the Investment Strategies Group. He is responsible for partnering across the firm to champion product development and distribution initiatives to support NISA’s next phases of growth.

Prior to joining NISA in 2022, Tony served as Managing Director at AQR. He also gained significant leadership experience with other respected organizations such as J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Barclays/Lehman, and Franklin Templeton. In his career, Tony has built a fixed-income business from near scratch, spearheaded strategic partnership wins, pioneered a liability-hedging solution for a Canadian plan using Long USD credit, and co-authored a book, as well as many financial papers. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is the inventor of a patent for a proprietary method of replicating a bond index via derivative instruments.
