Cecilia Esterline is an Immigration Research Analyst at the Niskanen Center, a position held since June 2022, following a role as a Research Intern at the Migration Policy Institute. Previous experience includes internships at the Bipartisan Policy Center and various roles at the DC Bar, where Cecilia contributed as a Bilingual Intake Specialist and Coordinator. Additional experience includes a Remote Research Fellowship at the Center for Migration and International Relations and assistant paralegal work in business immigration at Fragomen. Early career roles encompass supporting immigrant and refugee engagement for the City of Richmond, as well as internship positions with World Relief and The Episcopal Church focused on immigration legal services and policy. Cecilia holds a Master of Science in International Migration and Public Policy from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Richmond, complemented by a MicroMasters from MITx and direct enrollment studies in international relations at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
