Richard Hahn is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Niskanen Center since June 2021. Prior to this role, Richard served as a Research Analyst at the Center for the Study and Practice of Violence Reduction from August 2023 to June 2024, and as a Research Associate at BOTEC Analysis from October 2015 to May 2023. Richard also worked as a Research Scholar at New York University from March 2016 to September 2021 and held the position of Executive Director of the Crime and Justice Program at the NYU Marron Institute of Urban Management from August 2017 to April 2020. Currently pursuing a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland, Richard also holds a Master of Public Administration in Policy from The City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in American History and Government from the University of South Carolina.
