Richard Byrd

Richard Byrd is a seasoned executive in the cybersecurity and sales sectors, currently serving as Chief Growth Officer and SVP of Sales at Nisos since June 2024. Previously, Richard held the position of Partner at ISTARI, a cybersecurity investment firm, from July 2023 to June 2024. From October 2019 to July 2023, Richard was the Vice President of Sales at IronNet Cybersecurity, contributing to Collective Cybersecurity Defense. Richard also served as Sales Director for Americas at Forcepoint and Leidos between 2016 and 2019, achieving significant sales leadership milestones. Richard Byrd holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration from Louisiana State University and completed a College Preparatory program with a focus on Computer Science at Episcopal High School.
