James Antony John is an accomplished automotive professional with extensive experience in leading innovative projects across major automotive companies. Currently serving as the Generative AI & Innovation Leader at Nissan Motor Corporation, James drives the integration of Generative AI into various aspects of the automotive value chain, enhancing R&D, design, manufacturing, and customer experiences. Previously, as Senior Technical Lead for Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, James managed projects in connected car technologies and electric vehicle development. James began his career at Groupe Renault as a Research Engineer, where groundbreaking automotive systems were conceptualized and prototyped. Additionally, experience at Magna Steyr involved roles in design and research engineering, focusing on advanced urban mobility solutions. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering from Government Engineering College - Thrissur.
