James Moss

VP, Total Customer Satisfaction at Nissan

James Moss is vice president, Total Customer Satisfaction, for Nissan North America. He was appointed to this position in August 2020. In this role, Moss is responsible for all product safety and customer product quality in the North American region.

Previously, Moss was vice president, Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer, Nissan Europe. He was responsible for teams across Nissan sites in Europe, including Nissan Technical Centre Europe (Cranfield, UK) as well as the company’s manufacturing sites in Spain, Russia and the UK.

Moss began his career as a Nissan graduate engineer in 1996 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility within Nissan Manufacturing UK and NML.

He brings to the region a rich background in customer satisfaction and product quality.

Moss holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical systems and engineering from the University of Bradford. He also completed an executive business program with The Wharton School.
