Tiago Castro

RVP, Nissan Midwest Region, Nissan U.S. at Nissan

Tiago Castro is regional vice president, Midwest Region, Nissan U.S. He was appointed to this position in April 2022. In this role, Castro is responsible for sales and marketing, incentive spending, distribution, dealer network development, financial controls, and dealer and customer satisfaction for the Midwest Region, which covers 15 states.

Previously, Castro was senior director, Nissan Brazil Marketing & Sales, where he was responsible for leading the brand's strategic direction, retail and marketing efforts in addition to dealer network development, customer quality, aftersales, electrification, and P&L.

Prior to this, Castro was responsible for the North American Light Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, where he oversaw Nissan’s plans and execution for trucks and commercial vehicles in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Castro joined Nissan in 2002 as an R&D CO-OP student in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in areas including, marketing, sales, dealer network development, product planning and R&D.

Castro holds a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University and a MBA from Michigan State University’s Broad Graduate School of Business. He is also a graduate of Nissan’s Global Executive Training program with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
