Jawad Siddiqui

Jawad Siddiqui has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jawad started their career as a Senior Software Developer at The Universal Insurance Company Limited in 2007. During their time there, they focused on revising and updating old code bases to modern development standards. Jawad also collaborated with project managers to set realistic coding milestones.

In 2013, Jawad joined Sether Private Limited as a Senior Software Engineer/Consultant. Their responsibilities included consulting with clients to align software development with their priorities and developing complex solutions to business problems.

In 2015, Jawad joined CIS (Pvt) Limited as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead. Jawad designed and developed customized Enterprise Resource Planning modules and improved system performance by resolving bugs and making proactive adjustments.

Jawad's next role was with Nisum, where they worked in various positions. Jawad initially joined as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a key role in large-scale software deployments and performed software testing. Jawad then moved on to become a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on designing and developing robust solutions for client requirements. Later, they served as a Technical Lead, managing team communications and providing solutions to problems. Their most recent role at Nisum was as a Senior Technical Lead, where they worked as a lead backend engineer for Fortune 500 companies like GAP Inc, Williams Sonoma Inc, and Macy's.

Jawad Siddiqui attended the Virtual University of Pakistan from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science. In addition, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate in September 2019, from Microsoft.
