Michael Stiver Pardo Aguirre

Michael Stiver Pardo Aguirre has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Michael Stiver started their career as a Developer at IDEAFIX SOLUCIONES DE INGENIERIA SAS in November 2018. Michael Stiver then worked as a Developer at Steam Guaviare from August 2019 to December 2019, where they contributed to the construction of an iOS mobile application for purchasing and delivery, as well as developing a web administrator for push notifications and assisting in enhancing an existing Android mobile application.

In July 2020, they joined Treelife as an iOS Developer, focusing on developing new features for an existing iOS mobile application aimed at improving reforestation processes.

From February 2020 to November 2020, they worked at Sisoft Soluciones Informaticas S.A.S as an Android Developer. Here, they built an Android mobile application for automating the workflow in collecting benefit requests for the elderly in the municipality of Yopal, including fingerprint reading and validation. Michael Stiver also developed another Android mobile application for generating follow-up reports on benefits provided to the elderly.

After this, they briefly worked as an iOS Developer at Heippi from September 2020 to November 2020, where they developed new functionalities for an existing iOS mobile application using Swift, SwiftUI, HealthKit, Firebase, and Alamofire.

Michael Stiver then joined Steam Guaviare again in October 2020 and contributed to the construction of an Android mobile application designed for the agricultural sector, aiming to eliminate commissions and intermediaries.

In December 2020, they moved to Oras Technologies SAS as an Android Developer and participated in building an Android mobile application for workflow automation through digital forms, using Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, Hilt, Room, Jetpack Navigation, and Retrofit.

Most recently, in June 2021, they joined Nisum as a Senior Android Developer, continuing their Android development journey.

Michael Stiver Pardo Aguirre completed their Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de los Llanos, where they studied from 2014 to 2021. Following this, they pursued a specialization in Software Engineering from the same university from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has also obtained multiple certifications. Michael Stiver completed the "Curso de Introducción a Swift" at Platzi in June 2023 and the "React y Django: Crea una carta digital para restaurantes" course at Udemy in May 2023. In December 2022, they obtained certifications in "Curso de Comunicación Asertiva," "Curso de Desarrollo de Aplicaciones iOS con SwiftUI," "Curso de Programación con Swift: Funciones," "Curso de Programación en Swift," "Curso de SwiftUI desde Cero," and "Curso de Desarrollo de Aplicaciones para Apple Watch" from Platzi. Furthermore, in March 2022, they obtained the "Scrum Developer Professional Certificate - SDPC" from CertiProf. Prior to that, in November 2021, they completed the "Android App Penetration Testing" course on LinkedIn and the "Curso de Arquitectura de Android," "Curso de Clean Architecture en Android," "Jetpack Compose Crash course for Android with Kotlin" courses at Platzi. Lastly, in November 2021, they obtained the "iOS App Development: Test-Driven Development" certification on LinkedIn.
