Tito Elgueta

Tito Elgueta, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tito is currently working at Nisum as a Team Manager and Data Architect, where they took on the role in May 2022. Prior to this, they were a Data Architect at Nisum since July 2021.

Before joining Nisum, Tito worked at Microsoft as a Cloud Solution Architect specializing in Data and AI from March 2021 to July 2021.

Tito also has teaching experience, having worked as a Lecturer at Universidad SEK from July 2013 to December 2020, and at the Universidad Diego Portales from March 2015 to December 2019. At the latter institution, they taught courses on experimental design and advanced research methods for the Faculty of Social Sciences and History.

In addition to their teaching roles, Tito was an Advanced Analytics Leader at Falabella from April 2019 to November 2020, and a Data Scientist and Cognitive Technologies Expert at Cognitiva Chile from June 2017 to April 2019.

Tito's academic journey includes a Ph.D. from the University of Southampton, which they completed from October 2008 to April 2014. Tito also held a postdoctoral research position at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile from August 2014 to April 2015.

Lastly, Tito was a Lecturer at the Universidad de las Américas from July 2012 to July 2013.

Tito Elgueta, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Universidad de Chile in 2004. Tito then pursued a Master of Science degree in Research Methods from the University of Southampton, completing their studies in 2008. Tito continued their education at the University of Southampton, where they completed their Ph.D. Research in Psychology in 2014. In 2021, they obtained a Diploma of Education in Business from Universidad Andres Bello.

Tito also holds several additional certifications, including "The Complete NIST Framework Course for Cyber Risk Management" from Udemy (obtained in April 2022), "DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals" from Microsoft (obtained in October 2021), "End-to-End Machine Learning with TensorFlow on GCP" from Coursera (obtained in June 2019), and various other certifications in data science, machine learning, SQL, and programming obtained from Udemy, Qwiklabs, DataCamp, and Coursera between 2017 and 2019.
