Yaser Barlas

Yaser Barlas has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Yaser currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Nisum since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Netpace Inc from March 2019 to August 2019, where they worked on multiple modules of an Information System/ERP for Information Sciences Institute, USC. Before that, they worked at Blue Zorro as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2017 to March 2019. Their responsibilities included creating a cashback module for coupons.com.

From September 2013 to December 2016, Yaser worked at Cisco as an Engineer IT Cloud Services. Yaser played a role in the development of Cisco Prime Infrastructure, a network management system.The role included working as a Software Engineer, Cloud portal developer, and UI/UX engineer.

Yaser also worked at Blue Zorro as a Software Engineer from June 2009 to September 2013. Here, they contributed to the development of vNitro, an Automation and Management platform for Virtual and Software Defined Networks. Yaser was responsible for developing the core engine to execute networking-scripts.

Before that, from June 2008 to June 2009, Yaser worked at TPL Trakker Ltd. as a Software Engineer. Their duties involved developing a complete Home Insurance Module for GIS (General Insurance System) and a Data Migration Application.

At the beginning of their career, Yaser worked as a Jr. Software Engineer at e-Access (private) Ltd from May 2007 to June 2008. Their responsibilities included developing various systems such as EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) and TTS (Token Tracking System) ISO 8583 Compatible Host Application.

Yaser Barlas completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from PAF-Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology. This educational achievement took place from 2011 to 2014.
