Bethany Fillers has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Communications/Data Analyst for the Project On-Track and as Director of Professional Learning for Rural LIFE at the Niswonger Foundation since July 2019. Prior to this role, Bethany Fillers worked at the Tennessee Department of Education from August 2013 to July 2019 as the Director of Improvement Networks for the Tennessee Early Literacy Network and as an Academic Consultant in Literacy. Bethany Fillers also has experience with Putnam County School System, holding positions as Assistant Principal at Cookeville High School and Freshman Academy Principal, as well as serving as a classroom teacher for 5th and 6th grades. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from East Tennessee State University, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University, and both a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education from Tennessee Technological University.
