Anjali Jain

Anjali Jain, PhD, is an experienced consultant currently working at NITI Aayog since October 2024. Previously, Anjali served as a Senior Manager in Energy Modelling at Vasudha Foundation India and held various positions at NITI Aayog through deputations, including Consultant and Manager. Anjali's prior experience includes roles at Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, TERI, and Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, where Anjali contributed as an Associate Fellow and Senior Research Fellow. Anjali began a career in academia as an Assistant Professor at Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology and Poornima College of Engineering. Anjali's technical background includes electrical maintenance and testing in large thermal power plants with roles at Coastal Gujarat Power Limited and Bharat Aluminium Company Limited. Anjali earned a PhD in Power System Planning, along with an M.Tech and B.E in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, respectively.
