Swaroop Chand

Swaroop Chand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as Chief Business Officer at Niti AI since September 2024, Swaroop is focused on building and growing the company. Prior to this role, Swaroop held the position of Head of Account Aggregator, Embedded Finance & Wealth Tech Products at Perfios from May 2021 to August 2024, overseeing the development of key financial technology solutions. As CEO of Lemonop from January 2017 to April 2021, Swaroop successfully scaled the gig economy marketplace to over 850 companies and 50,000 freelancers before its acqui-hire by Perfios. Additionally, Swaroop spent over a decade at Oracle as Director of Software Engineering, specializing in software product development for financial services, and began a career as a Lead Programmer at Citi in capital markets software development. Swaroop holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
