Esa Puttonen

Esa Puttonen is an experienced data scientist and senior software architect at Nitor, where tenure began in November 2007. Previously, Esa worked as a software engineer at HiQ Softplan from May 2002 to October 2007, managing projects and contributing to all phases of information systems development. Prior experience includes serving as a systems designer at TJ Group Oyj, with a focus on real-time electricity stock market systems, and a part-time teaching role at Helsinki University of Technology. Esa also completed a trainee position at ABB Corporate Research, focusing on J2EE application server performance comparison. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and postgraduate studies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence from Aalto University.
