Aileen Wang has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and project management fields. Aileen has held various roles within different companies.

At Nitrase Therapeutics, Aileen worked as a Manufacturing IT/OT Leader/Project Manager. Aileen'sresponsibilities included driving value with digital manufacturing projects, such as developing databases to automate processes, implementing VR glasses in manufacturing, and utilizing QR codes and robotic automation. Aileen also managed engineering design across multiple firms on a $250 million project, leading to significant annual savings and return on investment.

At Mateon Therapeutics, Aileen held the position of PMO Project Manager, where they sponsored the business case for improving global capital project management. Aileen led the implementation of Microsoft Project Server on a global scale. Aileen also served as the PMO Global Project Controls Manager, achieving a 50% reduction in redundant work processes through Value Stream Mapping. Aileen also worked as a Project Controls Engineer, managing planning, scheduling, and cost analysis for international/domestic projects.

At Nektar Therapeutics, Aileen began their career as a Consulting Engineer, providing technical consulting services to clients. Aileen then became a Project Engineer, managing engineering and operations personnel. Aileen later became a Senior Project Engineer, leading the design and implementation of a manufacturing process that resulted in significant cost savings.

Throughout their work experience, Aileen has consistently demonstrated strong project management skills, delivering cost savings and driving value through innovative solutions.

Aileen Wang completed their undergraduate studies in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Sichuan University from 1993 to 1997. Aileen then pursued further education at Clarkson University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and another bachelor's degree and master's degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biological Science and Biotechnology, from 2000 to 2004.
