Grace Pohan

Grace Pohan is a Senior Research Associate in Assay Development at Nitrase Therapeutics since April 2023. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, where expertise in cell-based high throughput screening, automation, and image segmentation was developed from September 2019 to January 2022. Grace worked as a Research Associate and as a Master of Applied Science Candidate in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, with a focus on hydrogel vascular graft fabrication and endothelial cell culture. Prior to that, Grace was a Manufacturing Engineer II at Baxter BioScience Manufacturing SARL, specializing in upstream manufacturing and bioreactor operations. Academic foundations include a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore.
