Arun Kashyap

Arun Kashyap has over 30 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry.

Arun currently holds the position of Sr. Vice President, Biology and Head of Oncology at Nitrase Therapeutics since July 2022.

Prior to that, they worked as Vice President, Research at Arch Oncology from March 2020 to July 2022.

Arun also served as Sr. Director, Protein Science at Dren Bio from October 2019 to March 2020.

From August 2014 to March 2020, they worked as Principal Consultant at Biotherapeutics Consulting.

Before that, they held the role of Director, Antibody Discovery at Compugen USA, Inc from November 2016 to September 2019.

Arun has also worked at Protagonist Therapeutics as Research Fellow from September 2012 to August 2014.

Earlier in their career, they were Director of Biology at Sea Lane Biotechnologies from February 2008 to September 2012 and Principal Scientist at the same company from February 2006 to February 2008.

Arun started their career as a BioProcess Engineer at BD Biosciences from October 2004 to February 2006.

Arun also worked as a Scientist at Pharmagenesis from September 2001 to July 2003.

Arun'sfirst job in the industry was as a Research Associate at Affymax Research Institute from November 1992 to October 1995.

Arun Kashyap began their education in 1983 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology. Arun completed their undergraduate studies in 1989. Following this, they enrolled at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1995 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Cell Biology in 2001.
