Edward B. Vertudes

Edward B. Vertudes is a Senior Research Associate at Nitrase Therapeutics since July 2021, with extensive experience in research roles focused on neurology and related fields. Previously, Edward served as Research Associate III at Gladstone Institutes from November 2018 to June 2021, conducting imaging-based phenotypic screens on iPSC-derived motor neurons for the Answer ALS Project and optimizing neural differentiation protocols. Edward's prior research experience includes positions as a Research Intern at Universität Zürich, focusing on automated quantification in inflammatory cardiomyopathy, and at ETH Zürich, exploring stem cell mechanosensitivity. Additionally, Edward worked as an Assistant Neurophysiology at Klinik Lengg, performing EEG monitoring and patient care. Edward holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Health Sciences and Health Sciences and Technology, respectively, from ETH Zürich.
