Lead Human Resources Generalist/ Lead Technical Recruiter at NITS Solutions

Laura Socaciu, SHRM-CP has over five years of Human Resources and Recruiting experience. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Case Manager at LifeCenter MIHP, where they provided care coordination and intervention services for pregnant women and infant Medicaid beneficiaries.

From 2016 to present, they have been employed at NITS Solutions as a Lead Human Resources Generalist and Lead Technical Recruiter. In this role, they are responsible for recruiting Entry to Director-level positions throughout all departments, including Technology, Marketing and Data Science. Laura also supports positive associate relations through both proactive and reactive interventions with employees and management.

In 2018, they were promoted to Senior Human Resources Generalist and Senior Technical Recruiter. In this role, they are successful in full-lifecycle recruitment of various positions, including Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Oracle Software Engineers, Web Developers, Analytical Managers and Director of Business Development. Laura also attracts fresh talent from career fairs locally as well as nationally at various top-tier schools, including Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cornell University and Princeton University. Additionally, they partner with outside immigration counsel and internal stakeholders to manage all work related immigration matters (CPT/OPT visas, H1B new applications and transfers).

Laura Socaciu, SHRM-CP obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wayne State University in 2011, after having earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Waterloo in 2009. Additionally, they hold a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
