NittoBest Corporation is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of processed food. The Company operates in five business segments. The Frozen Food segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of processed minced meat, flied animal meat, packaged and cooked meat, cooked farm and marine products and frozen dessert, among others. The Daily Food segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of daily food. The Canned segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of retort pouch food, refrigerated food and others. The Food Distribution and Restaurant segment is involved in the sale of foodstuff in Qingdao, China. The Others segment is engaged in the research of animal cell cultivation, as well as the manufacture and sale of culture fluid and systems. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had four subsidiaries and one associated company.
