Bishal Prasad

Bishal Prasad is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and software development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Nium since September 2023, Bishal previously held significant roles at GitHub, including Director of Engineering and Staff Engineering Manager, where leadership in developing a highly-available, reliable cache system for GitHub Actions was key. Prior to GitHub, Bishal spent a decade at Microsoft, contributing to the Azure DevOps product and leading various initiatives that integrated Azure and GitHub Actions, enhancing CI/CD capabilities for customers. Early career experience includes impactful engineering work at NVIDIA, focusing on GPU programming for video technologies. Bishal holds a dual degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
