Villy B.

Villy B. is a Graduate Student Researcher at California State University-Sacramento since January 2023, focusing on developing immunoassays to test antiviral compounds against SARS-CoV-2. In addition, Villy has served as a Laboratory Analyst at Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since November 2021, handling analytical methods and GMP analysis for pharmaceutical products. Previous roles include a Laboratory Technician at Bayer and a Lab Intern at Horwath Lab UC Davis, contributing to chemical analysis and soil sample research respectively. Villy has been involved in various educational and volunteer activities, including mentoring and publicizing mental health initiatives at UC Davis, supporting medical workers through Covid Community Care, and conducting scientific research during the University Rover Challenge. Villy holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Chemistry at California State University-Sacramento.
