Anagha Rai

Product Owner, Family Planning at Nivi, Inc.

Anagha Rai has a diverse range of work experience in the field of healthcare and public health. Anagha began their career as an intern at Bite Rite in 2011 and later worked as an intern at the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, where they conducted research on iron deficiency anemia. Anagha then joined Church World Service as an intern, where they represented the organization at the UN headquarters and assisted in redesigning the refugee resettlement program.

In 2017, Anagha became a Program Associate at the Active Citizen Project | Project EATS. Anagha served as a focal point for the program, collaborated with stakeholders, and authored various program documents. Anagha also worked as a Research Associate at NMC Healthcare, where they built the framework for in-house research and collaborated on telemedicine projects.

Anagha's most recent role was as a Research Associate at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). Anagha co-led the development and execution of an engagement strategy for a study on antibiotic stewardship in India's mixed health system communities. Anagha also contributed to data analysis and the development of policy briefs, reports, and proposals.

Currently, Anagha is working as a Project Coordinator at Nivi, Inc.

Anagha Rai obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Human Development from Mount Carmel College in India. Following this, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Nutrition at NYU School of Global Public Health from 2015 to 2017.
