Erica Spain

Erica Spain is a Marine Geology Technician at NIWA since November 2020, previously serving as a Marine Geoscientist at Geoneon from December 2019 to November 2020. Erica completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marine Geoscience at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies between November 2016 and November 2022. Additional academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Hydroacoustics from the University of Tasmania (2015-2016), a Bachelor of Science in Marine Geoscience from James Cook University (2012-2014), and participation in a University Exchange Program in Geoscience at the University of Dundee in 2013.
