Alyssa Hurlbut

Alyssa Hurlbut is an experienced communications specialist currently employed at Nixon Peabody LLP since April 2021. Previously, Alyssa worked as a news producer for WWMT-TV, where impactful stories for prime-time broadcasts were generated and reported. Alyssa has also contributed to Marist College Television and the Marist Circle newspaper as a host, production coordinator, and editor-in-chief, managing editorial teams and launching a website that achieved significant viewership. Additional roles include internships in publicity and managing editorial at Penguin Random House, general assignment reporting at The Connecticut Mirror, and research internships at PolitiFact and the Partnership for Strong Communities. Alyssa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Political Science from Marist College.
