Amber Saunders

Amber Saunders is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in contract management and procurement. Currently serving as a Procurement Contracts Attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP since August 2022, Amber previously held the position of Manager in the Office of Sponsored Programs at Nicklaus Children's Health System from December 2015 to September 2022, leading a team to manage all sponsored programs for the only pediatric hospital in the region. Amber's earlier roles include Contract and Grant Officer at the University of Miami, where complex contract negotiations were a key focus, as well as various legal internships that provided foundational legal experience. Amber holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and English, with a minor in Classics, from the University of Florida.
