Daniel Kern

Daniel Kern's work experience includes holding the position of Chief Investment Officer at Nixon Peabody LLP starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at TFC Financial Management from 2015 to 2023. Kern also served as the President and Chief Investment Officer at Advisor Partners from 2011 to 2015 and as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Charles Schwab Investment Management from 2008 to 2011. Before that, they were the VP of Product Development at Charles Schwab & Co. from 2003 to 2008. Kern began their career as a Managing Director at Montgomery Asset Management from 1995 to 2003.

Daniel Kern obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Daniel furthered their education by earning an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, attending from 1992 to 1994.
