Dave Hughes

Dave Hughes has a diverse work experience. Dave is currently working as a Local Music Columnist at The Beat of Diablo since May 2021. Previously, they worked at Nixon Peabody LLP as a Lead Facilities Coordinator starting in April 2019. Dave also worked as an Office Services Coordinator where they were known as the "go-to guy" for various clerk positions. Prior to that, Dave worked at The Loading Dock as an Event Coordinator and Restaurant Manager from May 2000 to June 2004. In their role as Restaurant Manager, they made significant improvements in daily operations and conducted cost analyses to minimize wasted revenue.

Dave Hughes earned an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Allan Hancock College, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
