Arpit Pokharna

Arpit Pokharna has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Arpit currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at NJBIO India Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. Previously, they worked as the Head of Business Support at Manplan Consultancy, where they provided management consultancy and specialized advisory services. Prior to that, Arpit served as the Chief Financial Officer at Polygel Organometallic (Brunei) Sdn Bhd, overseeing the Corporate Finance & Strategy Division. Arpit also worked as a Finance Manager at the same company. Arpit has also held the role of Group Tax Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank. Arpit started their career as a Project Intern at CIMB and later worked as an Executive Tax at AVS & Co Chartered Accountants. Arpit began their professional journey as an Audit Executive at Mehta Chokshi & Shah LLP.

Arpit Pokharna's education history is as follows:

Arpit studied at Central Academy from 1996 to 2007, completing their secondary education. From 2009 to 2011, they attended Rajhans Vidyalaya, obtaining their senior secondary degree.

In 2011, Arpit enrolled at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, where they completed a Bachelor of Management Studies degree with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General. This program lasted from 2011 to 2014.

Simultaneously, Arpit also pursued certifications from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and obtained the title of Chartered Accountant in 2017. They specialized in Accounting and Finance tax during their studies from 2014 to 2017. Furthermore, they enrolled at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India in 2014 and completed their Company Secretary degree, specializing in Compliance Management, Secretarial Audit, and Due Diligence in 2015.

Arpit's pursuit of higher education continued in 2021 as they started a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at ACCA. This program is expected to be completed by 2022. Subsequently, in 2022, Arpit plans to pursue a Post Graduate Certificate in Investment and Securities from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, which is likely to conclude in 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Arpit also obtained certifications during their educational journey. They were awarded the "CA" (Chartered Accountant) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in November 2017. Additionally, in December 2015, they achieved the "All India Rank 20" certification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. This was accompanied by the "CS" (Company Secretary) certification from the same institution.
