Aubrey Peterson

Aubrey Peterson has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Aubrey is currently working at NJI as a Senior Account Manager since 2021. Prior to this role, they were an Account Manager at the same company from August 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining NJI, Aubrey worked at DAI from 2018 to 2021. Aubrey held various positions during their time there, including Senior Associate Health Specialist in the Global Health sector from January 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they managed the operational start-up of a $14 million project in Vietnam and supported the implementation of USAID-funded governance projects in Asia. Before this, they were an Associate in the Asia Region, where they worked on projects such as the $9 million Community and Municipal Governance Initiative in the Kyrgyz Republic and the $12 million ASEAN-USAID Partnership for Regional Optimization. In both roles, they had responsibilities related to budget, finance, contracts, staffing, and project facilitation.

Aubrey started their career as a Research Consultant at the U.S. Department of State and Joia Consulting in 2017. Aubrey then worked as a Government Affairs Fellow at Partnership for Public Service. In 2015, they were a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant with The Fulbright Program. Before that, they were a Teaching Fellow at Match Education in 2014.

Aubrey also had internship experience as an Advocacy Intern at the National Peace Corps Association in 2013, where they lobbied members of Congress. Aubrey also served as a Communications Intern at the Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program in 2012.

Aubrey Peterson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication with a Media Studies Concentration and History from Wake Forest University. Aubrey attended from 2010 to 2014. Aubrey later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Global Governance, Politics, and Security at American University from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Aubrey also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in September 2022.
