James Madison has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. From 1987 to the present, they have worked as a Freelance Videographer, Editor, and Graphic Designer, utilizing various computer programs and equipment for video production and editing. James has also served as a Multimedia Specialist for Mid-State Technical College, where they created visual content for marketing and academic purposes. In addition, James has worked as a Director of Video Services for Advanced Medical Integration, overseeing the production of videos for training, promotions, and social media. James has also worked as a Digital Media Instructor at Neshoba Central School District, teaching subjects like STEM and Digital Media and integrating marketing principles into student projects. James has experience in technology coordination, development, and broadcast journalism instruction through their role as a Technology Coordinator and Developer/Broadcast Journalism Instructor.

James Madison began their education at Mississippi Delta Junior College from 1981 to 1983, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they attended The University of Southern Mississippi from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Radio, TV, and Film production. In 2020, James obtained a Color Grading Certification from the Color Grading Academy.
