Ali Shafaie

Ali Shafaie serves as the Head Fencing Coach for Christian Brothers Academy's Varsity Fencing program, which competes in NJSIAA’s District 5, starting July 2023. Additionally, Ali has been a Fencing Instructor at Freehold Fencing Academy since January 2013, focusing on skill development for children and participating in regional and national competitions. In a marketing capacity since 2016, Ali manages Freehold Fencing Academy's social media presence, notably increasing Instagram followers from 30 to over 500 and achieving approximately 600 Facebook followers. Ali also acts as a referee for USA Fencing at various national events since 2012 and has been a sports referee for NJSIAA since March 2015. In terms of education, Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers University (2018-2022) and a high school diploma from Freehold Borough High School (2014-2018).
