Nishi Kothari, MD

Nishi Kothari, MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Nishi is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director at Nkarta, Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Senior Medical Director at Instil Bio from April 2021 to October 2022.

From March 2019 to March 2021, Dr. Kothari held the position of Senior Medical Director at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Before that, they served as a Medical Director at the same company from April 2017 to March 2019.

Dr. Kothari began their career at Moffitt Cancer Center in July 2012, where they first completed their Hematology/Oncology Fellowship from July 2012 to June 2015. Following their fellowship, they worked as an Attending Medical Oncologist in the Gastrointestinal Oncology department from July 2015 to January 2017.

Nishi started their medical journey at Parkland Hospital in July 2009 as an Internal Medicine Resident and completed their residency in June 2012.

Nishi Kothari, MD completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2004. Nishi then pursued their medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School from 2005 to 2009, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD).
