Cameron Smith is a Team Leader in Reliability and Advanced R&D at NKT Photonics, leading research on degradation processes of supercontinuum white-light lasers to enhance system lifetimes. Prior to this, Cameron worked as a Senior Optical Engineer and Product Development Engineer in the same field. Cameron's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Sydney, where the focus of their research was on reconfigurable photonic crystal cavities. Cameron also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has completed postdoctoral research at DTU Nanotech.
