Tom Kerssemakers

Tom Kerssemakers currently holds the position of Technology Assessment & Strategy at NLC Health Ventures, focusing on evaluating investment proposals and strategic development within the MedTech domain. Previously, Tom worked as an Associate at HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER, engaging in patent prosecution and litigation while supporting investment firms with due diligence. A former Visiting Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tom developed a closed-loop drug delivery system, resulting in a patent application and co-authorship of research papers. Additional experience includes roles at DSA Kalman and as a Systems Engineer for OperationAIR, as well as teaching assistance at Delft University of Technology. Tom Kerssemakers holds a Master of Science in Systems & Control and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
