Alessio Califano

Alessio Califano serves as the Operations and Service Manager at nLIGHT since August 2020, following a tenure as Project Manager at OPI Photonics from July 2014 to August 2020, where responsibilities included the research and development of optical systems and electrical controls for laser beam management. Prior to this, Alessio progressed through roles including a Research Grant position at Politecnico di Torino focused on optical fiber lasers for materials marking applications from January 2012 to June 2014, an intern role at Istituto Superiore Mario Boella in early 2011, and a brief internship at SPEA involving the development of a test program for electronic boards. Academically, Alessio holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a diploma in Telecommunications and electronic technology from I.T.I.S. "E. Majorana" Grugliasco.
