Lawrence N Mdegela

Lawrence N Mdegela is a Doctoral Researcher at IDLab, affiliated with UGent, UAntwerpen, and imec since September 2019. Mdegela has been a faculty member at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology since February 2018 and served as a Visiting Faculty at Technische Universität Dresden from August 2018 to February 2019, contributing to the development of a harmonized modular curriculum for the Smart Grid (DAMOC). Prior to these roles, Mdegela was an Assistant Lecturer at Mwenge Catholic University from August 2014 to February 2018. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp (2019-2023), a Master's degree in Information Communication Science and Engineering from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (2012-2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ruaha Catholic University (2008-2011).
