Jeremy P Springhorn, PhD has a long and varied work experience. Jeremy P began their career in 1992 as R&D Management for Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Jeremy P then moved up to Head of Global Business Development and Corporate Strategy in 2006, and VP, Corporate Strategy and Business Development in 2009. In 2015, they joined Flagship Pioneering as Partner, Corporate Development. In 2017, they held multiple roles in the same year, including Board Member at uniQure, Member of the Board of Advisors at Mythic Therapeutics, and Chief Business Officer at Syros Pharmaceuticals. In 2019, they became an Independent Director at NMD Pharma A/S and in 2021 they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at 4:59 NewCo, a 5AM Ventures Company.

Jeremy P Springhorn, PhD received their A.B. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Colby College in 1984. Jeremy P then went on to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where they earned their PhD in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology in 1989. Following this, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School in Molecular Cardiology from 1989 to 1992.
