Joshua Martin

Joshua Martin is an experienced media professional currently serving as an Associate Producer and News Producer at The Project since September 2021. Concurrently, Joshua holds the position of Digital Producer for 'Insiders'/'Offsiders' at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). As a contributing writer for NME since January 2020, Joshua focuses on music, film, TV, and arts news, while also contributing to long-form profiles and video interviews. Previous roles include contributions to MTV Australia, where Joshua produced longform music features and assisted with content strategy, as well as internships at The Canberra Times and The Age. Joshua's earlier experience includes writing and editorial roles with Junkee Media, Crikey.com.au, Mixdown Magazine, and BMA Magazine, showcasing a diverse portfolio in journalism. Joshua's education includes a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from The Australian National University and a journalism exchange semester at the University of Maryland.
