Nora Phelan currently serves as the Assistant Director for Program Evaluation at the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) since May 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Research Assistant at Measurement Incorporated from September 2018 to April 2024, and Evaluations Officer at Community Impact from June 2016 to September 2018. Earlier positions also include Monitoring & Evaluation Manager and Program Monitoring Officer at Contact A Family, and various roles at Good Shepherd Services, where responsibilities encompassed consulting, project management, program evaluation, and data management from November 2006 to October 2013. Nora started a career as an Assistant Program Coordinator at Helping Hands Housing Services in August 2005. Education credentials include a Masters of Public Administration from Baruch College, a Certificate in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts from Western University. Nora also completed Leadership Westchester in June 2022.
