Brittany Novick

Community Engagement Specialist & Conservation Educator at NMMF

Brittany Novick's work experience began in 2014 at the National Marine Mammal Foundation, where they served as the Clinical Diagnostic Coordinator & Community Engagement Lead. In 2015, they joined SeaWorld as an Aquarist, and later transitioned to the role of Animal Care - Rescue Team. In 2017, Brittany became the Miss Scuba International, representing the USA and promoting safe diving practices and marine conservation. More recently, in 2020, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Miami University.

Brittany Novick obtained a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from Miami University, where they studied from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Bowling Green State University, where they attended from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Brittany has obtained several certifications, including the Climate Reality Leadership Corps from The Climate Reality Project in August 2020, SCUBA - Rescue Diver from PADI in March 2016, and IACUC from Bowling Green State University in September 2012.
