Geert Jan van Gaans

Geert Jan van Gaans currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for NN International and the CIO/COO for the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic at NN Group, positions held since February 2019. Prior to this, Geert Jan van Gaans was the CIO for Head Office Functions at NN from June 2014 to January 2019. Geert Jan van Gaans also held roles at ING, including IT Workstream Lead for ING CRE and Head of IT disentanglement from August 2010 to May 2014, and Program Manager at ING Insurance from June 2007 to July 2010. Geert Jan van Gaans began their career as a First Lieutenant in the Korps Mariniers - Royal Netherlands Marine Corps from February 1995 to July 2001. Geert Jan van Gaans is an alumnus of the Royal Netherlands Navy Institute (POTOM).
